Quick Guide to Using Notta Memo: A Step-by-Step Overview

Notta Memo is designed to streamline your transcription and recording needs with its easy-to-use functionality and seamless connection with the Notta App. Whether you're capturing conversations, meetings, or phone calls, here's a quick guide to get you started with your Notta Memo.

Setting Up Your Notta Memo

1. Allow Bluetooth Access: Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.

2. Power On Notta Memo: Press the power button on Notta Memo to turn it on. The Bluetooth search icon will appear on the device's screen, signaling that it is ready to connect.

3. Pair with the Notta App: Open the Notta App on your smartphone and follow the in-app instructions. Note that you’ll need the product serial number, which is printed on the back of your user guide.

Using Notta Memo

Notta Memo has two recording modes:

• Phone Call Recording Mode: Flip the switch to the upper position. This mode captures phone call conversations clearly by detecting phone vibrations.

• In-Person Recording Mode: Flip the switch to the lower position. Hold the device in your hand or place it on a table for ambient recording.

Recording Audio

• Start Recording: Press and hold the power button for 2–3 seconds until the device vibrates, and the recording mode icon appears on the screen.

• Stop Recording: To stop the recording, press and hold the power button again for 2–3 seconds. The device will vibrate, and the screen will turn off.

Charging and Maintenance

• Charging: Use the included magnetic charging cable to connect the device to a power source. The device will display a charging icon, and once fully charged, a full battery icon will appear.

• Care and Maintenance: Regularly clean your device with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using the device in high-temperature or dusty environments.

Device Unpairing and Factory Reset

• Unpair the Device: If you no longer need to use Notta Memo with the Notta App, unpair the device through the app settings.

• Factory Reset: Press the power button five times quickly to restore factory settings, which will erase all recordings not synced with the app.

Firmware Updates

To ensure optimal performance, always update your Notta Memo to the latest firmware through the Notta App when prompted.

Troubleshooting Tips

• If the device disconnects, check the Bluetooth connection and ensure your app is updated.
